Biography
Teaching
I teach language, literature and culture courses here in the Department of French, where I also serve as coordinator of the first-year language program. In that role, I work closely with graduate student instructors in their first years of teaching. Since 2017, I've been the Program Director of UC Berkeley’s summer study abroad program in Paris. Come see me if you’re interested in going to France with us!
In 2018, I was a Teaching Fellow at the UC Center for Teaching & Learning. In 2021, for coordinating the curricular innovations of the department’s incredible graduate students and lecturers during the pandemic, I received the “Extraordinary Teaching in Extraordinary Times Award" from the Academic Senate’s Committee on Teaching. And in 2023, I received UC Berkeley's "Distinguished Teaching Award," the university's highest honor for teaching.
