Le Cercle Français (LCF) is the official French club at UC Berkeley, where French language and culture come to life beyond the classroom.Whether French is your heritage language or you’re just beginning your French-learning journey, we welcome French learners and speakers of all levels!
Our goal is to create a relaxed, inclusive environment where students can practice their French, connect with others, and have fun along the way. We meet every Wednesday from 6–7 PM in front of the Campanile, where we chat, play games, and enjoy different activities together. Throughout the semester, we also organize outings and events, from grabbing crêpes or Senegalese food to watching French-language films and exploring Francophone culture.
LCF is a great way to make French a regular part of your week while meeting fellow students who share an interest in the language and culture.
