After a successful and well-attended first leg here in Berkeley, the two-part international conference “Monique Wittig: Twenty Years Later / Ving tans après” will hold its second meeting on Tuesday 27 and Wednesday 28 June 2023 in Geneva. The complete program for the Geneva leg of the conference is available here.
Cosponsored by the Department of French at the University of California – Berkeley and the Institut des Études Genre at the Université de Genève, this conference will encourage new directions in scholarship on Wittig and stimulate transatlantic and international exchange about her work.
The keynote speakers in Geneva will be Wendy Delorme and Rébecca Chaillon, whose performance/lecture is entitled Le Corps gouin, pique-nique Wittig.
All events (except the film screenings) are free and open to the public and will be simulcast on Zoom. You can sign up for the Zoom here. Questions about the Geneva side of the conference? Write to carolina.topini@unige.ch.
