Anglo-Quebec writer Gail Scott will give a reading from her new book of essays, Permanent Revolution. Gail Scott was very active in the Quebec equivalent of écriture féminine, and was in a writing group that explored the relationship between "theory" and writing in the 1980s, alongside the poet Nicole Brossard. Professor Will Burton will discuss her work with her.
