Biography
Teaching
I teach a range of language and literature courses here in the Department of French, where I also coordinate the first-year language program. In that role, I work closely with graduate student instructors in their first years of teaching. Since 2017, I've been the Program Director of our annual summer study abroad program in Paris. Come see me if you're interested in joining us!
In 2018 and 2024, I was a Teaching Fellow at the UC Center for Teaching and Learning. In 2021, for my work during the pandemic, I received the "Extraordinary Teaching in Extraordinary Times" Award from the Academic Senate’s Committee on Teaching. And in 2023, I received UC Berkeley's Distinguished Teaching Award, the university's highest honor for teaching.
