Doan Bui is a writer and journalist who was awarded the Prix Albert Londres for her work about refugees. Her memoir, Le silence de Mon père, published in 2016, won the Prix de la porte Dorée and the Prix Amerigo Vespucci. Her first novel, La Tour (Editions Grasset, 2022), was shortlisted for the Goncourt Prix du premier roman and the Orange Prize. Le Monde de Nulle part, her second novel, was published in September 2024. She is the writer for two graphic texts, C’est quoi un terroriste? and Fake News, and has also collaborated on the books Ils sont devenus français, Lettres d’amour et de guerre, and Portraits de VI(H)ES.
