Since November, a number of students and professors from Berkeley, the University of Exeter, and the Université de Paris Nanterre have been working on a Zoom production of Molière’s 1668 three-act comedy George Dandin. The idea was to provide a collective and convivial project capable of bringing students together during this time of isolation and impossible travel. Among the actors are two of the Department of French’s majors, Christian Burke and Kristen Hull! I enthusiastically invite you to tune in this Friday to see their work! The play — en français bien sûr — will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. PDT Friday, March 26.
